Turkey Red Oil (TRO 50%, 60%, 70% – ISO Grades)

Oleo-chemicals

Castor oil undergoes a chemical sulfonation or sulfation process where it reacts with concentrated sulfuric acid or sulfur trioxide. This process introduces sulfonic groups into the castor oil molecule, converting it into a water-soluble form. The product is then neutralized (usually with caustic soda), adjusted to desired active content (50%, 60%, 70%), and filtered.
